The Achilles Heel was a concept in the making since the birth of my daughter Madelyn in 2001.  It was the perfect combination of my passion for athletic endeavors and my family. I want my daughter to grow up realizing that there are more important things in life than just crossing the finish line. So now that The  Achilles Heel is a reality it’s more about helping others cross the finish line. Whether that is at the Muddy Monster Cross Country Run or enabling a child to  participate in an athletic camp that they would not have an opportunity to do otherwise (see Achilles Heel Programs).
