The Achilles Heel is happy to present Variety a check thanks to the tremendous support of the participants. A donation is also given to The Conservation Fund to offset the footprint of the event.

August, 2009

The Achilles Heel supports Variety in a “bike-for-kids” event in Dubuque, IA.  It was great to see 29 kids receive a new bike and helmet encouraging them to get outside and be active.

July, 2009

The Achilles Heel receives 501(c)(3) status from the IRS which is retroactive back to the date of incorporation.

May, 2009

The Achilles Heel elects 2 new at-large members to the Board of Directors; Bronson Pasko and Steve Petro. They will assume various responsibilities including overseeing all operational activity and event planning.

March, 2009

The Achilles Heel establishes partnership with Variety, the children’s charity of Iowa.

May, 12th 2008

The Achilles Heel receives incorporation in the state of Iowa as a non-profit organization.
